Considering the lack of clear queer imagery in Renaissance painting I decided to paint a Gay version of "La Tempesta" by Giorgione. I added the small foreground creature with pursed lips. There's also a lewdly leering herm from Tiepolo which may be the artist.
The myth that inspired the original painting was unknown for centuries but recently the ever delightful Waldemar Januszczak has explained it in a YouTube video.
Photographed by Tom van Eynde who assured me that nothing could ever get too precious.
