I spent a very long time working on this, I desperately wanted to paint but was in search of subject matter that wouldn't surpass my perceived technical skills. Also working full time to support oneself wasn't conducive to an art career. I suspect this is a love letter to my adult caretaker when I was a very young child. It expresses maternal warmth which wasn't available maternally.
